Plan ahead for overnight road closures on the M3, M25, and A3 near Wisley and Staines for roadworks maintenance.
National Highways is doing work on the A3, M25, and M3, as they need to maintain the roads. This includes fixing electrics, drainage, and cutting plants.
To avoid big delays during the day, they close roads at night. If you drive early, plan extra time and check the junctions on the main roads first.
Detours will be set up with yellow signs. Some work lasts until 9 AM which can cause extra wait times.
On Monday, February 10th, the M25 has work. The anticlockwise part closes from junction 6 to 5, from 10 PM to 5:30 AM. Also, the M25 anticlockwise closes at junction 11, and the slip road there closes too from 10 PM until 5 AM. The M3 northbound closes from junction 3 to 2. This lasts from 10 PM to 6 AM.
Tuesday, February 11th affects the M3. The northbound entry and exit slip roads close at junction 4a, from 9 PM to 6 AM. Also, the M3 northbound closes from junction 2 to 1, from 10 PM to 5 AM.
On Wednesday, February 12th, more M25 closures happen. The anti-clockwise closes from junction 9 to 8, from 10 PM until 5 AM. The clockwise link to the M40 closes too. Junction 1a link road is closed as well. This lasts from 10 PM to 5 AM. The M25 clockwise closes at junction 13, from 10 PM to 5 AM. The M25 clockwise entry slip at junction 10 closes, from 10 PM to 5:30 AM.
Thursday, February 13th also has M25 closures. The anti-clockwise part closes from junction 9 to 8, from 10 PM to 5 AM again. The clockwise link to the M40 westbound closes, and the junction 1a link road will also be closed. This is from 10 PM until 5:30 AM. The M25 clockwise closes at junction 13, from 10 PM to 5 AM. The M25 clockwise entrance slips at junction 10 closes, from 10 PM to 5:30 AM. The M3 southbound closes at junction 2, between the exit and entry slips. This lasts from 10 PM until 5:30 AM.
Friday, February 14th, the A3 is affected. Northbound exits and entries near Shackleford close, from 9 PM to 6 AM. The M25 clockwise link to the M40 closes, and the junction 1a link road also closes, from 11 PM to 6 AM. Also, the M25 clockwise closes at junction 13, from 11 PM to 6 AM. The M25 clockwise entry at junction 10 closes, from 11 PM to 6 AM. The M25 anticlockwise and carriageway closes from junction 12. This affects the M3 northbound and southbound ,and junction 2 too, from 10 PM to 5 AM.
Saturday, February 15th, closures impact the A3. The southbound part shuts between Wisley and Ockham Road, from 9 PM to 9 AM. Also, the A3 northbound closes from Ripley to Wisley, from 9 PM until 9 AM too.
Sunday, February 16th, the A3 still sees closures. The A3 northbound closes at the Wisley Interchange, covering entrance and exit slips, from 10:30 PM to 5:30 AM. The A3 northbound also closes between Painshill and Esher, from 10:30 PM to 5:30 AM.
