Complete M25 closure near Wisley for bridge demolition. Expect delays from Friday 9 PM to Monday 6 AM. Diversions in place.

The closure starts Friday at 9 PM and lasts until Monday at 6 AM. This happens March 7th to March 10th. Use diversions, avoid the area if you can, and postpone your trip if you can manage that.
Consider trains as an alternative to driving. If you must drive near junction 10, expect delays and allow more travel time.
They’re demolishing an unused bridge and the scale and rubble require a total closure. This ensures everyone’s safety.
The same closure repeats later in March, from March 21st to March 24th. The times are still Friday 9 PM to Monday 6 AM. They will demolish another bridge then.
Removing all the concrete takes time, and they can’t demolish both bridges at once. Maintenance and drainage work will happen too, as they want to maximize the closure time.
Good news! These are the last M25 closures for this project. The Wisley interchange work continues until 2026. Most work will focus on the A3 now.
The M25 speed limit returns to 70 mph this summer, and the gyratory work finishes by then too. Work is still going on the A3 southbound, and new signs will be activated soon.
Traffic flow has improved somewhat, though it’s still busy during peak hours. Drivers should have more space, but please don’t cut in line. There have been near misses.
You will need to use a diversion route this weekend. The same route applies in both directions, so it covers travelling clockwise.
When driving clockwise from junction 10: Exit at junction 10 and take the A3 northbound. At Painshill, take the A245, then the A320. Rejoin the M25 at junction 11.
When driving anticlockwise from junction 11: Exit at junction 11, take the A320 southbound. Then, take the A245 to Painshill. At Painshill, take the A3 southbound. Rejoin the M25 at junction 10.
Also, going via Dartford Crossing should be quicker, that is, if it avoids the closure.
