M25 junction 10 project delayed to spring 2026 due to 2024 weather issues. Closures scheduled in March and April.

This project focuses on junction 10 of the M25. Workers are building and taking down several bridges. Wisley Lane Bridge opened in November 2023. It provides a new entrance and exit for RHS Wisley.
Daily driving should not be affected this summer. The overall project will finish later, though. National Highways says traffic will not worsen, and most drivers won’t notice the delay.
Jonathan Wade manages the project for National Highways. He said weather slowed things down in 2024, but his team worked hard to catch up on the road elements. These should still finish on time.
The project offers real improvements. It will ease traffic and improve flow, and it also helps make journeys safer for many people.
The M25 will be closed for two weekends in March. This allows them to safely finish the next steps. Closures happen March 7-10 and March 21-24. Both start Friday 9 PM and end Monday 6 AM.
Junction 10 slip roads close February 21-24 for added work. The A3 closes April 11-14 too. This means the whole road will shut, both ways, between Junction 10 and the Cobham Roundabout/A245.
Jonathan Wade also stated this is the final set of M25 closures. The road work nears its end. He thanked people who followed directions last year and asks drivers to use the M25 only when needed.
Major work like this causes disruption, but it helps improve journeys for years to come. He understands delays are frustrating and that short term issues allow for long term benefits.
They planned closures for months, but delays will still happen. Drivers should leave extra time or use other routes. Follow the official diversion signs and do not trust satnavs. Diversion routes will be announced soon.
