A fight happened in Halifax, leaving two people hospitalized with serious injuries.

The fight occurred on Mile Cross Road on Wednesday, February 5. Weapons and vehicles were involved. Police charged two men with violent disorder in connection with the incident.

Sohaib Tahir, 36, and Uzair Mahmood, 24, both face charges of violent disorder. They are also accused of possessing offensive weapons. The two men appeared in court on Friday, February 2.

Police arrested three more men in connection to the fight, while three prior arrestees were released, though they remain under investigation. One other man remains in police custody.
