Usman Jamal gets 8 years for a violent Dudley disorder involving a shooting and stabbing on May 5, 2022.

A man got stabbed. Someone also fired a gun. The trouble took place on May 5, 2022, at a street corner in Dudley. A car also suffered damage during this event.
CCTV showed a gun getting fired towards a group. Thankfully, no one got hurt. Police identified Usman Jamal, age 25, and said he fired the gun and used the knife.
Jamal avoided police for a while. Last August, officers with guns pulled over his car. Police charged Jamal with several crimes including wounding, gun possession, a knife and cannabis.
Jamal admitted to the charges earlier. The court sentenced him to eight years in jail. A detective talked about the case, saying the event was a violent daytime disorder including guns and knives. Jamal tried to avoid arrest, the detective said, but police caught him and brought him to justice.
