The Guildford Lido will open April 26. Enjoy swimming, waterslides, and extra swim times. The season goes to September 14.

Swimming officially begins on Saturday, April 26. Prepare for the Lido’s usual fun offerings, including the heated pool and exhilarating waterslides. A fantastic time is guaranteed for all who visit.
Adding to the excitement, two new swim times have been introduced on Wednesday and Friday nights. The season will run until September 14, after which the Lido will close its doors for the fall and winter months.
The pool operates from early morning until late evening. On weekdays, the hours are 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Weekend hours differ slightly, with public access from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, followed by private events until 8:30 PM.
Specific slide times are still to be announced. In the past, the popular Anaconda and Kamikaze slides were open during weekends and school holidays. This pattern could very well repeat itself this year, so stay tuned for updates.
The Lido once maintained year-round operations, a practice that ceased following the pandemic. While there are calls for its year-round reopening, councilors have cited excessive associated costs and insufficient attendance during the winter months as obstacles.
With a history dating back to 1933, the Lido has provided aquatic enjoyment for over 92 years. It continues to be a source of fun and recreation for countless individuals.
For the 2025 season, general swim will be available daily from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Lane swimming is scheduled for early mornings and late evenings on weekdays, specifically from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM and from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Weekend morning lane swimming will be from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. The café hours will align with the pool schedule.
