Someone wants to build a new pool in Eynesbury, near St Neots. They plan to transform an old factory on Levellers Lane into the new pool.

Happy Fins Swim could operate the pool. They already have a pool in Sandy. The new pool is designed to teach kids to swim locally. The planned size is 12.5m long, 6m wide, and 1.2m deep.

According to their planning documents, more pools are needed in the area. The location is suitable, and the building is also appropriate for their needs. Both factors will contribute to efficient and safe operations.

The pool will operate with set hours, including weekday afternoons, mid-week mornings, and weekend mornings. Five teachers can be accommodated to work at the pool simultaneously.

The plans include increasing the number of parking spots to eight to handle traffic. Breaks between classes will allow teachers to prepare for the next group. During these breaks, they can also assist with parking and manage the flow of people.

The Huntingdonshire District Council will decide about the pool later after examining the facts. The planning reference is 25/00105/FUL, and the full plans are available online for public review.
