The Michelin-rated Cor owners are opening another place. Mark and Karen Chapman will launch it in Wapping Wharf. This new restaurant will open in April.

They named their new spot Luca. It’s an Italian sharing plates kind of place, and Luca is also their first son’s name. They see Luca as their love letter to Italy.

They will focus on simple, quality ingredients. You can grab a drink or have a whole meal. Tiramisu will be on the menu. You can book or just drop in.

Cor opened in Bedminster back in October 2022, quickly becoming a top Bristol restaurant. It earned a Bib Gourmand from Michelin, an award for good quality, good value food.

Karen and Mark met working in Australia in hospitality. Mark cooked at Bravas and Gambas earlier. Then, they decided to open their restaurant.

Luca will have sharing plates, wine, and cocktails. Italian food and culture will get special focus. Luca’s opening day is April 25.
