Wisbech businesses are facing terror from youth groups, prompting urgent calls for immediate police intervention.

Fenland District Council met on February 24. Council members urged police to act fast about this. Police say they’re working on the anti-social behavior. Cambridgeshire Constabulary stated they made arrests and increased police presence in Wisbech.
Tierney said that groups on bikes cause problems. This has happened before, but the latest is escalating now. He said they ride e-scooters and bikes. They allegedly terrorize businesses and people in the market.
He claims some businesses are targets of intimidation. Fires got set at shop doors. Tables and chairs got smashed. People at a hotel got bricks and eggs thrown at them. He claimed the group used racist language.
Tierney believes the group causes trouble deliberately. He is not happy with the police work so far. He hopes police are doing things behind the scenes. Businesses and residents are unhappy with the police response.
