A 23-year-old admitted to drug dealing twice after getting caught with cocaine, cash, and weapons. He received a suspended sentence.

They also found a sword and a knuckleduster during a search of his home.
Daniel Phillips, who is 23, admitted to dealing cocaine and cannabis twice. He also admitted having criminal cash twice. These crimes happened in 2022.
Police wanted to talk to him, so he ran. They caught him and found cocaine that he had hidden in his underwear.
More cocaine turned up at his house later, along with £1,035 in cash. Police also discovered cannabis, scales and snap bags. A phone, sword, and knuckleduster were also there. The cocaine value was £2,360.
Later, police stopped a car leaving Hornsea where Phillips was a passenger. They found cocaine worth £40, £1,020 cash, and some cannabis. Scales, phones, and bags were also found.
One phone had drug dealing texts.
Phillips said nothing during police questioning. He had assault and property damage convictions from 2019.
His lawyer said Phillips wanted to apologize, noting he was only 20 when the crimes occurred. The lawyer also said Phillips was immature. He was broke and thought dealing was easy money.
Now he understands it is not. His lawyer added Phillips now controls his life. He quit dealing drugs and changed friends.
Phillips started a tire business that makes honest money, and he is moving forward.
Phillips got a suspended sentence of two years. Also, he must do 200 hours of work and attend 20 days of rehabilitation. The seized £2,055 goes to Space2BHeard.
