Landlord admits to housing offenses in Bradford for failing to maintain and clean his properties. More charges expected!

Hasan Kazi appeared in court on February 20 and admitted nine offenses on Easby Road, near Bradford College. His offences include breaking housing rules and a housing order. His sentencing will be on April 16. Kazi lives on Laisteridge Lane.
He failed to keep the shared house clean, did not repair or maintain it on February 29, 2024, and broke a housing order on March 6, 2024, concerning a hazard at 8 Easby Road. He also ignored an order from November 29, 2023.
From May 16 to June 19, 2024, he failed to act related to hazards at 14 Easby Road after notice dated March 21, 2024. He didn’t complete needed repairs in time. He also faced six more charges related to housing repairs at 8 Easby Road for different flats.
Imran Hussain spoke for Bradford Council, noting that Kazi owns several Bradford properties. These charges involve only two places, however, the Council plans further charges against him. The court delayed sentencing until April 16, allowing the Council to present more charges.
