Yorkshire Dad Found Dead at Old School Grounds: Family ‘Irreparably Broken’

People are remembering David Robert Adams, age 38. He was found dead at his old school. Friends and family called him Dave and his death shocked everyone last March. They helped his family pay for the funeral.

A GoFundMe page raised over £6,000, due to more than 100 people donating money. Dave’s partner said he was a “beautiful human” and wrote that her heart was broken. They held his funeral in York.

Many people shared memories on LinkedIn, where they said Dave was friendly and a good worker. He easily made friends with folks, and colleagues valued his kindness and humor. One colleague called him funny and thoughtful, while another said he was sweet and good company.

Many thought he was a true gentleman. He was also clever and supportive. Dave used to live in Stalybridge, and he worked for Enel X as a sales head.

He studied at Cambridge and York Sixth Form. Tadcaster Grammar School was his first school. He died on March 25th and was found at Tadcaster Grammar School. A coroner ruled he took his own life; her name was Gillian Kane, and she is from North Yorkshire.
