Man attacked by two dogs in Stoke-on-Trent: An XL Bully and a mixed breed dog; both were later put down.

Police responded to the incident and searched Lennox Road in Normacot. People were told not to get close to the dogs. A vet identified the breeds; one dog was an XL Bully, and the other was a mixed bull type.
No one claimed the dogs. So, both dogs were put down after the January 27 attack. The man had injuries to his arms and hands, but he is out of the hospital now, and the police are still checking into it.
A police speaker gave an update, stating that officers worked with a vet and checked the dogs involved in the Lennox Road event. It was a difficult decision regarding what to do with them.
The animals were deemed an XL Bully and a mixed breed. No one came to claim either dog, so the authorities agreed to have the dogs put to sleep. Police continue looking into the attack case.
The incident began before 9 AM when armed police filled a street in Normacot. Police caught one dog by 9:10 AM. They searched for the other one, which cops thought seemed to run away.
Drones helped search for the second dog, and it was caught later that day. Police warned people not to approach it then and asked the public to report any dog sightings.
