A Network Rail worker was hospitalized after a crane collapsed on a railway line near Port Glasgow.
The accident happened Saturday, March 15, after 8:30 PM at an engineering site. Police, firefighters, and paramedics responded quickly.
Reports say a crane lifted part of the track, and something went wrong. The worker’s current condition is unknown. They were replacing a rail junction where trains travel to Gourock or Wemyss Bay.
