A woman crashed into a lorry on the M4 while driving drunk, was arrested, and later banned from driving for 20 months.

Police officers saw skid marks and plastic pieces, tracking them off the motorway. They discovered Helen Bradshaw, 40, in a lay-by around 10:30 a.m. She was making the car rev loudly, moving the vehicle back and forth.
Bradshaw initially denied driving but later admitted she was driving after all. Sergeant Will Ayres gave her a breath test, which showed she was triple the legal limit. Police arrested her for suspected drunk driving.
Bradshaw admitted guilt and driving without insurance earlier. She went to court on February 17, where they banned her from driving for 20 months. The court ordered 20 days of rehab and she must also pay £299 to the court.
Sergeant Ayres commented on the risks of drunk driving, stating people still risk themselves and others. Bradshaw wrecked her car’s front, and this collision could have been much worse. He added that drunk driving is a top cause of fatal crashes.
