Woman Shot Dead While Visiting Dad in Texas Ruled as Homicide

Lucy Harrison died in Texas. She visited her dad there, and the autopsy report says it was a homicide. Lucy was shot in the chest. The shooting happened at medium range.

The incident happened on January 10. Lucy was 23 years old and from Warrington, England. An inquest into her death occurred, taking place on February 12.

The report says she was shot on vacation while in the USA. Following the hearing, Lucy’s mom and boyfriend shared kind words.

The report came from a medical examiner named Chester Gwin, MD, who works in Collin County. The report states gunshot caused her death, and authorities believe another person fired the shot.

She tested negative for drugs and alcohol. Doctors pronounced her dead in Texas around 4 PM on January 10. Her dad, Kris Harrison, lives in Texas and he may have relatives in Southport.

Lucy’s mom and boyfriend released a tribute in which police shared a message. They said Lucy loved life and lived without fear. They added that Lucy loved people deeply.

She enjoyed traveling and experiencing new cultures. She also loved being cozy at home, liking to wear pajamas and light candles.

Lucy’s funeral will be on February 24, starting at 12:30 PM at St Elphin’s Church in Warrington. The family requests donations be made to Peace & Mind UK, a Warrington charity.
