A woman covered in blood screamed after an XL Bully attack, claiming her dog was killed in Bristol.

Neighbors witnessed a bloody woman screaming, “They killed my dog.” She owned an XL Bully dog and had moved in just three weeks prior. She said her dog was good with women and children alike.
The dog was seized after the attack and then euthanized. One neighbor met the owner after her move; the woman mentioned her XL Bully, stating it had papers.
The attack occurred around 6:40 pm when everything seemed normal. Later, at 7:26 pm, the owner ran out, prompting a quick response from emergency services, including police, ambulances, and paramedics.
The owner sat outside, overwhelmed, and hours passed before her arrest. She cried down the road, with a lot of blood – though it is not known if she was hurt, possibly having tried to stop the dog.
A neighbor saw a man with the dog around 11 pm the night before, and they think a dart was given to the dog. People thought they heard a gunshot, but they saw a long stick instead.
Another neighbor confirmed the dog’s size, identifying it as an XL Bully. The woman cared for the arrested person, noting that the dog did not seem vicious, nor did it jump or bark; the owner also seemed nice.
The neighbor is still processing things, and the authorities removed the body at 1 am. It was shocking and unbelievable, and the woman remained in a state of shock, unable to speak to anyone; the neighbor thinks it was a freak accident.
Another woman saw the bloody woman on Taylor Gardens near Cobhorn Drive. The hysterical woman was there for hours, as police kept her there for a while after she had only lived there for weeks.
Neighbors heard hysterical screaming and saw the woman covered in blood. Police arrived within seconds and went in and out of the flat.
Doreen and Barry Tovey saw the woman screaming about her dog’s death and could hear her screaming loudly as multiple police cars arrived.
