A woman covered in blood screamed after an XL Bully attack. A teen died. The dog was seized and euthanized.

Witnesses heard a woman screaming after the teen’s death. The woman, covered in blood and visibly upset, reportedly cried, “They killed my dog.”
Morgan, from Shropshire, died on Wednesday after the dog attacked her at a house on Cobhorn Drive in Bristol. Paramedics were unable to save her. She had moved into the house just three weeks prior.
Witnesses reported seeing the owner crying and covered in blood, yelling about her dog being killed. Before the attack, she had told neighbors that the dog had papers, claiming it was bad with men but safe around women and kids. The dog was hip-height.
A neighbor recalled a conversation with the owner on the day she moved in. The owner had mentioned having an XL bully with papers.
The neighbor described the night as typical until chaos erupted. At 7:26 PM, the owner came outside, and police and ambulances arrived simultaneously. The owner was devastated and sat outside, clearly distraught. The neighbor wondered if she had tried to stop the attack and been injured in the process.
The neighbor observed a lot of blood on the owner, emphasizing that the dog had always seemed peaceful before. It never jumped or barked on walks and did not appear vicious at all.
Police confirmed they euthanized the dog and issued an update on Friday, stating they are still working to identify the dog’s breed. A man and woman in their 20s were arrested in connection with the incident and later released on bail while inquiries continue.
Morgan’s family is receiving updates from the police and is being supported by a trained officer. They have expressed their gratitude for the public’s support and requested privacy during this difficult time.
Caelia Dorsett honored her “bestie” on Facebook, thanking people for their support and acknowledging the messages she received after Morgan’s death. Morgan’s mother also expressed her appreciation for the messages and support, stating that she would respond eventually.
Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to call 101, referencing number 5225051097, and share anything that could assist their investigation.
