Kevin Evans invests £50,000 in Honley Wine Bar near Huddersfield, managed by wine expert Oliver Jones.

Kevin usually runs software companies. Oliver Jones manages the wine bar now. Oliver has worked with wine before, in both London and New Zealand. Jamal assists Oliver at Honley Wine Bar, where he was previously a manager at a closed Slug & Lettuce.
Honley Wine Bar opened this week. They have many wines to buy, along with cocktails like Neck Oil and Hells Lager from Camden Town Brewery. Currently, they offer 20 wines, but Kevin wants 100 to 150 wines soon. People can try wines from Greece and Georgia.
The owner, Kevin Evans, feels eager about the bar, and Honley locals are supporting the new establishment. Kevin hopes it brings nightlife to Honley, as many people usually go to Holmfirth instead. He said people think the bar looks great but is unsure if it will be consistently busy.
He thought opening a bar was simple, but it has been very hard work, he said. Find Honley Wine Bar at 23 Westgate, Honley. They open 4-11pm Thursday and Friday, 2-11pm Saturday, and 2-8pm Sunday.
