Hey, so some folks had water problems. Burst pipes caused it on Sunday. This happened near Cricklade in Wiltshire. It impacted some Gloucestershire homes too.

One pipe broke by the A419 road. They needed special pumps for floodwater. Firefighters helped remove the water. GL7, GL8, SN6, and SN26 postcodes all saw issues.

Thames Water gave out bottled water. It was at GO Outdoors in Swindon. They also delivered water to those who needed it most.

They fixed the main pipe. It should take a bit for water pressure to return. Everyone should have their water back now, according to Thames Water. If you still lack water, contact them.

They apologized for the trouble. They said it was due to burst pipes by Cricklade. This affected the local water supply.

Pumping out tons of floodwater took time all day. Specialist equipment was needed, causing delays. They used trucks and also valves to reroute water. This got water back to most people.
