Candles ignited a blaze in Willesden, injuring two. Firefighters responded to Ilex Road and controlled the fire.

Six fire engines went to the scene. About forty firefighters were there. Six people got out before they came. Paramedics treated two people, then they went to the hospital.
The fire damaged the first floor of the two-story house. The fire was under control by 10 PM. Candles near things that burn caused it, and it seems accidental.
The London Fire Brigade gave a statement, saying firefighters went to Ilex Road where the house had two floors. The fire destroyed the first floor.
The fire brigade said people called about the fire. They got the first call at 8:31 PM. Fire crews came from nearby stations, and they controlled the fire by 9:54 PM. The fire started by accident.
The Fire Brigade also gave candle safety tips: Never leave candles alone, put candles out when you leave, and use holders on flat surfaces. Keep them away from things that burn, and keep flames away from kids and pets. Tea lights get really hot.
