Grand Pier admission for non-residents doubles to £2 in 2025. Locals remain free via a special card.

The cost for non-residents doubles to two pounds, starting in April of 2025. Locals still get in free, and the money will help with pier upkeep.
Tim Moyle, a director at the Grand Pier, spoke about the increase. The price increase is vital for maintenance and helps protect the pier’s future. They spent over one million last year alone on upkeep.
The new fee applies to all visitors, but local residents use the My Grand Pier Card. This card gives free entry and perks, including discounts on rides and food. Over 10,000 locals enjoyed this in 2024.
The pier supported local charities last year with over 1,000 prizes. They help charities like the RNLI and Weston Hospice Care too. They fundraise and donate to these charities.
Locals can visit the pier’s website to check My Grand Pier Card eligibility. The new fee starts on April 5th and gives visitors access to free Wi-Fi. People can relax on boardwalk benches and enter the Pavilion arcade.
The Pavilion has over 500 games and also holds twelve rides. Guests can enjoy food and drinks from places like Costa Coffee.
The Grand Pier is key to Weston tourism. Many celebrities visit the town, including Emma Thompson and Richard Hammond. They hope the pier will thrive and acknowledge that it needs visitor support to succeed.
