The family will hold a private service at Co-op Funeralcare in Livingston. They are calling it “Hope’s Day.” The family wants the community to show support by lining Livingston’s streets. This is for Hope’s horse-drawn carriage procession to Adambrae Cemetery.
Co-op Funeralcare shared “Hope’s final journey” online. Hope will leave the funeral home around 12:45 p.m. Her route leads to her burial place. Her family thanks the community for their kindness and asks those able to line the route. This shows support as Hope passes.
They posted the exact route to the cemetery. The procession exits left from the funeral home and goes up Almondvale East Road. They turn right at the mini-roundabout. Then it’s along Dedridge East Road and continues straight through the next roundabout. They will go onto Dedridge West Road, with a left turn onto Dedridge North Road. Finally, it goes over the roundabout into Adambrae.
They expect to arrive around 1:15 p.m. A friend made a fundraising page to help cover Hope’s Day expenses. It has raised over £10,000 already, surpassing the original goal of £2,000.
The fundraiser organizer spoke about Hope, saying their hearts broke on January 20 when they learned about Hope’s tragic murder. Hope was a vibrant, loving girl. Everyone knew her infectious smile and she possessed a kind heart and a deep love for animals.
Hope’s short life ended tragically. Her absence leaves a huge void, and her family and friends will always miss her.
