Mark Sell pled guilty to abuse and violence charges in Craigavon Court, including threats to kill and assault.

Mark Sell is from West Belfast, but lives in Lisburn. He pled guilty in Craigavon Crown Court on Friday, March 14. The charges relate to abuse and violence.
He pled guilty to six charges, including computer misuse and threats to kill. Also, he admitted criminal damage and assault. Domestic abuse offences were included too. The dates fall between August 2022 and January 2024.
Other charges existed originally, covering strangulation and dangerous driving. There was also a charge for threatening behavior. These weren’t pursued after his plea.
Sell’s sentencing occurs on June 12. A report is getting prepared beforehand, and his lawyers requested a psychological assessment.
Sell’s victim felt relief after the hearing, avoiding a difficult trial. However, she’s disappointed with his ‘picking and choosing’ of pleas.
She told Belfast Live about the situation, stating she’s glad he’ll be convicted. She added that everyone needs to be aware of his behavior, as he poses a risk to all women.
She will be traumatized for life, and her fear will never disappear. She hopes he gets the sentence he deserves, and that they must ensure he cannot hurt other women.
