Great Sankey High School, where Lucy was a former student, honored her memory. They remembered her as bright and dedicated, saying she will be missed.
An inquest began but was paused, set to resume on March 28. US authorities have ruled her death a homicide.
An autopsy revealed a gunshot wound inflicted by someone else. She had no alcohol or drugs in her system. Doctors declared her dead in Texas just before 4 PM on January 10.
Lucy was visiting her father, Kris Harrison, who lives in Texas and has family ties to Southport.
Her mother and boyfriend expressed their sadness, saying Lucy loved without shame. They noted her love for travel and cozy days at home.
They are incredibly heartbroken by her death, saying Lucy lived fiercely and wasn’t afraid to feel everything. Lucy loved and was deeply loved.
She embraced travel and new places, while also cherishing home in pajamas. Her funeral will be held on February 24 in Warrington.
Lucy worked at Boohoo. Donations will be directed to Peace and Mind UK, Brianna Ghey’s mother’s charity.
