A man was shot in Walton shortly after a child was in the same spot. Police are investigating the Fountains Road incident.
A child was nearby on a scooter when the incident occurred. The shooting took place on Fountains Road around 9 PM last night. A dark car pulled up to the location.
A man approached the car and looked inside. A passenger then opened the door and fired a gun at the man. He turned and ran away quickly as the car sped off. The victim subsequently went to the hospital himself.
Police examined the area and forensic officers gathered evidence. The road is now open again. Police are determined to find everyone involved and identify the shooter, driver, and passenger.
