Friends organize vigil for Amen Teklay, 15, who died in Glasgow. Police investigate, arresting two teens.

Friends made plans for a vigil to honor Amen. It will be at Danes Drive Park from 3 PM Sunday. This park is by the Kingsway Flats.
Amen moved to Glasgow with his dad eight years ago. His sister, Delina, is seventeen. She said they were refugees from Eritrea. Amen wanted to become a UK citizen. He wanted to be a doctor, engineer, or basketball player.
Delina said Amen was someone she could talk to. They grew up very close to each other. His death was a shock to the family. She and her dad are devastated by the loss.
His school called him “bright and friendly.” The headteacher, Claire McInally, said the school was shocked. She said he liked music and media. He showed great promise.
Jamie O’Neill helped Amen at Kingsway Community Connections. He felt extreme grief after Amen’s death. They want to support Amen’s family. They will help young people grieve.
