Prosecutors said she broke his phone, drove his truck away, and cleaned her car thoroughly. CCTV cameras recorded this, and GPS data tracked her phone, leading to the truck’s location.
Matthew’s body remains missing. The lover gave police texts and recordings. He saw bruises on Jennifer. She said they were from moving the body and cleaning the house.
A neighbor saw Jennifer’s parents helping her clean until midnight on September 24. The couple was divorcing and fought over their three young kids, ages 11, 7, and 5. She must return to court this month.
