Freda Green vanished in 1972. Police renew appeal for information on her 75th birthday. She was last seen in Brierley Hill.

Officers hope someone might know something about Freda, who lived on John Street in Brierley Hill, Dudley, and was about five foot four with blue eyes. She often wore glasses and had operation scars on both insteps of her feet.
Freda often went to the New Inns Pub, which was on Dudley Road in Brierley Hill and is now called the Dog and Lamp Post. When she disappeared, Freda worked at Steven and Williams as a glass polisher.
Even with no trace since 1972, police still hope someone will share any detail, no matter how small. West Midlands Police are still working on old missing person cases and are seeking help locating Freda Margaret Green, who was reported missing in April 1972.
A photo shows Freda around 15 or 16, and police hope the appeal will spark a memory. When missing, Freda was around 5’4″ with blue eyes, wore glasses, and had scars on her feet. She knew the New Inns Pub, now the Dog and Lamp Post, and her job was glass polisher at Steven and Williams.
