A police car crashed on a city road. The unmarked car had blue lights on, and it was answering an emergency call. The accident involved a Ford Focus Zetec. This happened on Sefton Street in Liverpool.

The crash occurred near Hill Street’s junction. Police got reports around 9:10 a.m. on Sunday, March 2. Police urged drivers to avoid the area, and they put a large cordon in place.

Firefighters, police, and an air ambulance arrived. They closed roads while handling the incident. The ambulance service received a call at 9:09 a.m. They sent a response vehicle and ambulances. One patient went to hospital and two got treatment there.

One person saw many police cars arrive. They also noticed a helicopter landed near the crash site. Another person saw the black Skoda with its lights on, sitting in the road with the Ford.

The road closed near the Renault dealership roundabout. The police cordon went to Hill Street’s junction. Video showed two badly damaged vehicles at the scene.
