Hey, something happened in Hull. People should stay away from St Stephens shopping center. They found a “suspicious package” there, which caused a full evacuation of the center. A bomb squad arrived on the scene quickly.

Police created a 200-meter safety area around St Stephens. Someone saw a large bomb disposal van speeding there, and reports say they found the item around 6:20 PM on Tuesday, February 18.

The police are working to keep everyone safe right now amidst a major evacuation. They ask that people avoid the area and wait until the police say it’s safe to return.

Humberside Police shared that officers are at St Stephens on Ferensway in Hull. They closed Ferensway, Anlaby Road, and Spencer Street to help emergency services work safely. People should not go to that area now.

This event is causing travel problems near the center. Trains and buses are canceled or delayed, and local events have also been affected. Ferensway and Anlaby Road are currently closed to traffic.

Stagecoach, East Yorkshire Buses, and Hull Trains all have disruptions, affecting Paragon Interchange a lot. Hull Truck Theatre had to cancel shows for the night, specifically “Mary and the Hyenas” and “The Contestant.”

The theatre gave updates online, assuring people with tickets they will get refunds or exchanges. The box office will contact them on the next day, Wednesday, February 19.
