Twycross Zoo now charges for parking. The zoo needs money for maintenance, and they say it’s unavoidable work. The new parking fee is three pounds per vehicle, and the charge started on Saturday, February 15.

Zoo leaders say they didn’t decide lightly. They plan big, costly car park upgrades within a couple of years. The zoo needs improvements to infrastructure. These upgrades will cost £1.5 to £2 million.

Annual ticket holders park free until April 5, but they must still book parking online before they visit. Annual Pass Plus holders and conservation members also park for free always.

Daily admission prices will not rise in 2025. Advance tickets cost £26.95 for adults, and child’s tickets are £19.75 online. The zoo will invest in better experiences. The improvements make visits more memorable. They also support vital conservation, which protects wildlife everywhere.
