Two men appeared in court after a 56-year-old man was found dead in a flat near Falkirk. Police are investigating.

Graham Bell, age 29, is from Falkirk, and William Rae, age 40, is from Grangemouth. They appeared in Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, February 17. They face charges of assault, including injury and endangering life.
Neither man entered a plea in court. Both men will stay in custody for now and must return to court soon, with their next appearance expected within eight days.
Someone called for help early Friday, around 12:45 AM on February 14. Emergency services went to Paris Street in Grangemouth. Paramedics found a 56-year-old man there and declared him dead at the scene.
