A bad crash happened on the A483 near Aberbechan, north of Newtown. The crash occurred around 6:30 AM today, Tuesday, March 4th. Two people went to the hospital.

The accident involved three vehicles. Police, firefighters, and paramedics all went to help, and a helicopter also arrived at the scene. Firefighters used tools to free someone trapped.

The police closed part of the road to investigate the crash and remove the wrecked cars. The Newtown fire crew got the call at 6:28 AM.

The firefighters described a head-on crash. One person was already out of their car, but the other person needed help getting out. Firefighters used their tools to free that person, and paramedics then cared for them.

Police confirmed the three-vehicle crash was on the A483, between Newtown and Abermule. That call came in just before 6:30 AM today, March 4th. The injuries are luckily not life-threatening, although the road stayed closed for investigation and car removal.
