Cops arrested two guys because of it. Both men are now being questioned. The police confirmed all this. One guy is in his thirties. They suspect him of dangerous driving. He may have had a gun to scare people.

The other man is in his forties. He is also suspected of having a gun. It looked like he wanted to cause fear.

Lots of police vehicles went to Halifax Road near Smallbridge Library; paramedics also showed up. A police car blocked traffic. You could see police cars near Smallbridge Clinic. At least one unmarked car stopped too.

An ambulance arrived on the scene. People said they saw eight police cars. There were also talks of a police helicopter. Someone filmed a person getting arrested. The video spread on social media. Another person got treated by paramedics.

Witnesses saw the police chasing a car. It was a Nissan Qashqai around Rochdale. It stopped on Halifax Road.

Police got a report from Queen’s Park Road in Heywood, mentioning ‘a man with a gun.’ The call came in pretty early, around 8:40 AM on Wednesday. That’s when police got the initial report.

Police arrested the two men quickly. Remember the one in his thirties? He may have driven dangerously and intended to cause fear. The older man in his forties, they suspect he also meant to scare people with a firearm.

They haven’t found any gun yet. The police investigation continues, though. The police have not shared more details.
