Support workers climb Mount Snowdon in Wales to honor a colleague and raise funds for Mind, a mental health charity, after his passing.

His loved ones will climb Mount Snowdon in Wales on June 14th, a Friday. They aim to raise funds for Mind, a mental health charity.
Kennedy Bonner described Ben fondly as a loving partner and father who brightened every room he entered. She remembers him as bubbly and charming.
Ben was a great dad, partner, and son, adored by his siblings and mother. He loved singing “The Gambler,” and family events won’t be the same without him. They want to do something meaningful in his memory.
Kennedy was 28 weeks pregnant when Ben died. Their daughter, Hattie, will never meet her dad, but they will tell her how wonderful he was.
Ben loved the outdoors and was proud of his Welsh heritage. That’s why they chose to climb Snowdon; he would have loved this challenge and would have been the first to reach the top.
They will begin climbing at midnight, aiming to reach the summit at sunrise around 5:00 AM. The sunrise reminds Kennedy of Ben, whose personality was bright and loving.
Kennedy noted that mental health affects everyone, and access to support can change lives. Mind provides crucial advice and services, ensuring people don’t struggle alone. Donations help Mind continue its work, raise awareness, and aid many, potentially preventing tragedies.
The fundraising goal is £900, and you can donate online.
