A van was also involved in this really bad crash. A little girl, only three, also got hurt. She was a pedestrian in the city.

Sadly, police confirmed the girl died in the hospital. She passed away because of her injuries. It’s just awful; my heart breaks. Officers are still looking for the van driver.

The van driver ran away after it happened. Police are still investigating. It’s been over five hours since the collision. Mosley street is still closed off.

Apparently, the van hit the girl after hitting the tram. The tram was going toward St Peter’s Square. Everyone is heartbroken about what happened. Manchester supports her family greatly.

Emergency crews rushed to Mosley Street quickly. Two ambulances were there. Two air ambulances came too. Tributes for her are pouring in now. Flowers mark the site.

Police say the trams aren’t running at St Peter’s Square. The other tram lines have delays. A white Mercedes-Benz van caused the incident. They have not made any arrests yet.
