Hey, something happened in Toxteth. It sounds pretty serious, actually. Police said it was a “large-scale disturbance”.

It all went down on Granby Street around 9 PM. This was on Tuesday, March 4th. Two guys ended up in the hospital because of a knife attack. One man, in his 20s, got stabbed in the chest. The other, in his 40s, was slashed in the face. Both are getting medical help right now.

Police set up a big cordon. It stretched across Granby Street, plus Mulgrave and Eversley Streets. People were out for Ramadan, which made things tricky. Some couldn’t even get to their cars.

A local guy told reporters about the scene. He saw a huge group chasing each other right before 9 PM. Police started investigating right away. Detectives are checking CCTV and talking to witnesses, too. They’re even doing forensic work. Roads are closed while they investigate fully.

A detective named Mike Fletcher talked about the situation. He said they’re figuring out what happened that night, knowing about the disturbance and injuries. Police are checking all available resources. They urged anyone who saw something to contact them and are checking dashcam, phone, and doorbell footage.

The police want to stop knife crime. They want to find and arrest offenders. They’re asking for the public’s help to solve this crime. Anyone with information should contact police. You can use social media or call 101. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously. Use log number 981 from March 4th if you do.
