Rescued tiger Aqua seeks public help for his new home at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm, after being saved from neglect in 2019.
Aqua’s rescue happened back in 2019. AAP saved him and other tigers near the Poland-Belarus border. The tigers suffered from extreme neglect and were moved across Europe. They were scared upon arrival in Spain. He then recovered at AAP’s rescue center.
The zoo wants to raise £175,000. This money helps build Aqua’s new home and supports his ongoing care. This is part of Project Carnivora at the zoo. It aims to transform the carnivore habitats, creating spaces for tigers and other animals.
Aqua’s new habitat will be near the lions in a quiet woodland area. This design gives Aqua a peaceful place, featuring two ponds made for Aqua. He loves the water and needs to exercise, so swimming will help his natural behaviors.
Visitors can enjoy viewing areas and learn through interactive displays. Play areas resemble animal habitats. These features encourage connection with wildlife, and the zoo also wants to educate its visitors.
