Three women face charges after a protest at Armstrong Works. It relates to an early morning demonstration.

Reports said people climbed onto a gatehouse roof and some damage occurred up there. Officers arrested six people in total. The group included five women and one man. The women’s ages ranged from 20 to 28, and the man was 20 years old. Police suspected them of causing a public nuisance.
Three of the women now face charges. They are 28, 27, and 24 years old. They’re charged with conspiracy and causing a nuisance and appeared in court today. The other three are out on bail now, including two women, aged 20 and 21, and another woman, aged 23. The 20-year-old man was released too.
Palestine Action claimed responsibility for it. They protest Israel’s actions in Gaza, where the health ministry says over 45,000 Palestinians died since it started back on October 7, 2023.
