Michael Smith, Adam Williams, and Connor Walsh found guilty of Rikki Berry’s murder and firearm possession after an eight-hour deliberation.

A jury found the three men guilty. They were convicted of murder and firearm possession. The jury consisted of eight men and four women, and deliberated for almost eight hours. Family members were present and reacted emotionally.
The judge will sentence the men on Tuesday. Judge Menary said they would receive life sentences, and the court will decide the minimum sentence next week. The jury was excused from service for ten years.
Williams admitted to driving the black SUV. The SUV traveled with the gunman, Smith, after a “reconnaissance mission.” Walsh was also in the car.
Williams and Walsh claimed they knew nothing about any planned execution. Williams claimed a passenger said Berry shouted. Then, the e-bike rider appeared and shot Berry.
Walsh’s DNA was on a bullet casing. He also rode his bike to the scene later, taking his son and nephew. Smith admitted to manslaughter and firearm possession, but claimed he only wanted to frighten Berry.
