A woman stole wine at a store in Cornwall. CCTV caught her in the act on Monday, February 17.

The store shared the video on Facebook, and the woman, identified as Kirsty Penny, commented on the post. She said she would sue the shop, feeling wronged by the post.

People found her comment funny and could not believe she admitted it. The shop nicknamed her “Thirsty Kirsty” and the “Self Snitching Wine Bandit.”

Others made jokes about her, with one person noting her foolish behavior. A man named Barry Day also commented, criticizing her actions and attitude.

Philip Higgs made a joke about her intelligence, while Samuel Charles Tregoning joked about a review. Danielle Clarke called the comments “comedy gold” and liked Kirsty’s responses.

The shop posted the CCTV images online, warning about “low-life thieves.” Kirsty commented repeatedly, saying she drank the wine and claiming the shop could not share the videos.

She debated with others for hours and even threatened legal action. Afterward, she changed her profile picture to say, “Don’t steal.” Later, her comments and profile disappeared.
