Daniel Shaw, 43, banned from three shops and a service station due to a Criminal Behaviour Order after Operation Vulture.

This order resulted from Operation Vulture in Lancashire. This operation targets shoplifters like Shaw, and many shoplifters faced sentencing recently. Authorities aim to reduce shoplifting county-wide.
Shaw’s CBO lasts three years. Blackburn Magistrates Court issued it February 12. He must stay away from certain places; the order lists specific locations he cannot enter.
Shaw cannot enter Farmfoods on Accrington Road, and he also cannot use its car park. Rossendale Road Service Station is off-limits too, and he can’t visit its forecourt either. Plus, Shaw is banned from Burnley’s B&M and One Beyond.
Operation Vulture fights shoplifting in Lancashire. Police officers patrol targeted areas and work with retailers to share info. This helps them understand and fight retail theft, and they also identify more offenders this way.
Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner spoke out and wants a stronger approach to shoplifting. He seeks better shop worker protection, better police-retailer relationships, and wants shoplifters punished for their crimes.
