Liam Hannigan, age 34, is missing in Tenerife. He went on vacation with his partner December 29. He then stayed with new friends on the island. Liam has not contacted family since February 7. His phone went silent that day.

The family became worried and started a search. Liam is from Clifton, Greater Manchester. His sister, Ellie, last spoke to him Friday. Her recent messages did not go through. Liam usually talks to family.

He would contact his sisters or their mother. They realized he hadn’t contacted anyone. Friends also had not seen him since Friday. Ellie says Liam values family. This behavior is very unusual for him. His parents are flying to Tenerife.

Any information could help them find him. They want Liam back home safely. He left his wallet and passport with friends. Liam is about 6’1′′ and thin. He has a tan and a full beard.

A chest tattoo reads ‘Family First’. He has a small ‘A’ tattoo on his wrist. He may wear a black Moncler vest. It has shiny fabric and a hood. Look for him wearing green Croc shoes too.

He stayed in La Asomada, but visited Los Cristianos. He used a travel card there. Greater Manchester Police are involved now. The Foreign Office is helping Liam’s family too.

Call the National Police helpline at 902 102 112. Report in English if you have any information. The Alert Cops app is another reporting option.
