Nine Teesside properties fetched over £1 million last year, with a Tees Bank Avenue home leading sales at £1.5 million.

The next priciest house was on Leven Bank Road. That home sold for £1.4 million, also in April. Another house on Hawthorn Grove also sold for £1.4 million, and a Yarm Road house sold for £1.3 million. Lastly, a house named Seaview sold for £1.2 million.
Looking at England and Wales, a mansion in Kensington sold for £30 million. This house was once owned by a Lord. Donald Trump pardoned that Lord, and this sale happened in March.
A Belgravia apartment sold for £28 million. After that, a Chelsea house sold for £26.1 million. A Mayfair flat went for £24 million; this made it the fourth most expensive.
Two other flats in that Mayfair building also sold. One sold for £21.5 million, and the other went for only £2.7 million. A Primrose Hill house was sold for £22.5 million. A Notting Hill house sold for £20.5 million.
In the North-east, a Jesmond house topped sales. That house on Granville Road sold for £2 million. Next, Picktree Manor and a Darras Road house tied, and they went for £1.9 million each.
