Nerdy dreams come true as a new gaming café opens in Middlesbrough, offering a haven for D&D fans and gamers.

Three friends opened Cerberus Gaming Café on Wilson Street. Simon Glass, Siobhan Daniels, and Tyne Shears made it happen. Simon always wanted his own gaming shop. Tyne makes nerdy D&D items.
Siobhan bakes amazing treats as a chef. She wanted a café for her cakes. Dungeons and Dragons lets players create characters. They go on adventures in a fantasy world.
It started in the early 1970s. Millions of people play it. The show ‘Stranger Things’ made it more popular. Actors Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel are fans.
The UK has around 40 gaming cafes. The closest was in Sheffield. Tyne said gaming is a great way to meet people. The café lets people enjoy D&D and other games. Board games and trading card games are available.
Richard Wilson works for Dodds Brown. They represent the building owner. The building was a bank branch. It’s good to see it used again.
Middlesbrough is changing with new attractions. The Stack, Project Escape, and Putter Chaos are nearby. New places encourage evening visits. The café sits near Dundas Shopping Centre’s entrance. Investment created shop units there. Two businesses got to grow.
