Man wanted for violent burglary in Teesside arrested at Manchester Airport with a one-way ticket to Munich.

He tried to run away to Munich. He even bought a one-way plane ticket. Cops caught him at Manchester Airport. This happened on Monday, February 24th.
The man is linked to two burglaries that occurred at a home in Middlesbrough. The dates were January 29th and 31st.
The thief stole electronics and some jewelry. He likely snagged a house key too. He came back to the house later when people were home and attacked two women there inside.
One woman, 29, lost consciousness during that attack. The other woman, also 29, got kicked down some stairs. Police recovered some stolen stuff and used forensics to find DNA evidence.
The DNA led them to a suspect. They tried to arrest him before, but he got away. The police learned about his flight, and two officers went to the airport. They arrested him there, and he is now in police custody.
