Teenager Killed in Clapham Shooting: Community Outraged by Broad Daylight Crime

A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed near Stockwell Tube station on Tuesday. Police are looking for the people who did it. The boy died on Paradise Road around 2:30 p.m.

Another councillor, Dr. Mahamed Hashi, went to the area on Wednesday morning. He provided support to residents and police.

Dr. Hashi stated the council feels shocked by the crime and that this is a hard time for everyone. His thoughts are with the boy’s family and friends. The council wants to make Lambeth safer.

Dr. Hashi wants people with information to speak up. Florence Eshalomi is a local Member of Parliament. She said she was sad about the shooting and posted this on the social media platform X.

Paradise Road had another violent incident last year. In August 2023, two teens were stabbed; one boy, seventeen, was stabbed, and another, fifteen, had face injuries. Both went to the hospital.
