A teen got stabbed in Nottingham. It happened in the city center. Police got a call about a party at a flat on Hounds Gate. This is near Maid Marian Way and Nottingham Castle. The call came at 11:42 PM on Friday, February 28.

A 17-year-old boy went to the hospital with serious injuries, but he should recover. Another 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were also hurt.

Police arrested five people: one 18-year-old man and four 17-year-old boys. They are all still in custody. Some roads are still closed, including Hounds Gate, Maid Marian Way, Standard Hill, and Lenton Road.

Nottingham Castle is temporarily closed due to the road closures. The grounds are usually open at 10 AM, allowing people to visit the museum, cafes, and shops.

Detective Inspector Chris Berryman believes the stabbing happened at the party. Police want to know what happened before, during, and after the incident.

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward. Did you see people leaving the flat? Do you have dashcam footage? Did you see anything? Contact the police.

Superintendent Kathryn Craner understands people are worried given recent knife incidents. This incident might not be connected, but police will investigate carefully.

Police will maintain a strong presence to reassure the public. Report weapons to help save lives. Contact CrimeStoppers anonymously at 0800 555111 or report online.
