A 17 year old boy was stabbed inside Nottingham Primark, leading to its closure and a police appeal for witnesses.

The store is on Long Row. The injured boy is seventeen years old. The attacker ran toward Old Market Square. This all happened in plain sight.
Police think a fight happened before the stabbing. It involved some young people outside. They don’t know how the boy is doing right now. Detectives want witnesses to talk.
One detective, Paul Shortt, called it terrible. Detectives are trying to figure everything out. They need anyone who saw or heard something to speak up.
People nearby talked about a scuffle on the top floor. Someone said it felt unsettling. They hadn’t seen anything directly.
The store stayed closed Sunday afternoon. Police investigated. The Long Row and Clumber Street entrances were blocked. Call 101, incident 241 of February 23, 2025, if you know something. You can also tell Crimestoppers privately.
